I am a successful, delivery driven APMP accredited Project Manager with over 20 years experience.  My Project Management experience covers a diverse range of disciplines including Telephony Transformations, IT infrastructure implementations, Application Development and, Business Change. 

Responsibilities include managing the full project life cycle (defining, planning, executing, controlling and closing projects) to deliver business value.  I have excellent communication skills, used to managing stakeholders expectations. Manages direct and virtual teams through excellent interpersonal skills.  

Equally happy to be working on ‘internal’ projects or those requiring close liaison with third party customers and suppliers.

Summary of Achievements

• Telephony Transformation:  Successful delivery to three Commercial branches and a major IT support office. Change from legacy to VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) hosted system.  Successful on time deliveries with only minor defects.  

• Data Centre re-location:  Successful migration of business critical both server based infrastructure and applications as well as e-Commerce applications from legacy UK based data centre to state of the art data centre on mainland Europe. Included upgrade and migration of FileNet application

• Application change and Release Management:  Successful delivery of software development release programme across several Business Critical platforms (server based and e-Commerce applications)

• Development Manager for Workflow and Imaging Centre of Excellence including upgrade of initial installation of FileNet.

• Infrastructure Implementation: Successfully managed implementation and commission of initial FileNet P8 infrastructure on schedule with dependency on new Claims system implementation

• Infrastructure Project: Successful Delivery of £250k infrastructure project for major stocks trading company  on time, to budget

• Millennium Compliance Project: Managed and coordinated a team of 7 to ensure millennium compliance of business critical hardware and applications - 54 Solaris servers and 81 applications across 24 locations.

• Outsourcing take-on:  Successfully managed several projects to implement the take-on of Outsourced infrastructure as either ‘in-house’ or ‘remote’ supported deliveries

• Project Office support:  of bespoke imaging system utilising the largest Oracle database in the UK at that time.  Managed the software release programme in conjunction with Client test teams as application development phases were completed.

• Implementation of integrated MRPII/ERP system from fragmented legacy systems: at one manufacturing site in UK and three sites in Italy. Implementation of Accounts Payable, Inventory Control, Purchasing, Manufacturing Planning modules.  Prototyping solutions for implementation to ensure business fit with minimal process change.  Managed writing of new operating procedures to ISO 2001 to UK and Italian sites.  Managed training of new processes and procedures.  Supported a further  implementation (as above) at a site in Belgium
